It started in a small kitchen in Katy, TX with a big dream: to recreate the warm, indulgent spirit of giordanos-style comfort dining — deep, hearty, and made to satisfy. Founder Carlos "Chuy" Ramirez spent years perfecting family recipes before opening the doors to the public in 2009.
What began as a neighborhood secret quickly became a community staple. Word spread fast — the food was bold, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere felt like someone's home. By 2013, Chuys had expanded its kitchen, its team, and its devoted following.
